Terms of service
Last updated 24 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Bramley. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Bramley is operated by CurroAI Ltd, company number 17471073, registered at 103 Brook Lane, Alderley Edge, Cheshire, SK9 7RU.
The most important thing on this page. Bramley computes nutrient profiling scores from the figures you give it, using published official guidance. It is a guidance tool. It is not legal or regulatory advice, and a score from Bramley is not a determination of your regulatory position. You remain responsible for your own compliance.
The service
Bramley scores food and drink products against the UK nutrient profiling models and reports the resulting position under the relevant promotion, placement and advertising restrictions. The free single-product scorer is available without an account. Portfolio scoring, AI-assisted ingestion, export and alerts require a paid plan.
Accuracy and your responsibility
Scores are arithmetic, computed from the values you supply against the published point bands. The arithmetic is deterministic and we show every point so you can check it. But:
- A score is only as good as the figures entered. We cannot verify that your nutrition data is correct.
- Where AI assists in reading a document, it flags what it is unsure of and asks you to confirm. You are responsible for confirming those values before relying on a score.
- Category scope, commencement dates and regulatory interpretation can change, and definitions in the regulations may apply differently to your specific product.
- You should take your own professional advice before making a commercial or regulatory decision.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised. Accounts are for the named user; seat limits apply by plan.
Your data
Product data you upload remains yours. We process it to provide the service and for no other purpose. We do not use it to train any model, and we do not share it with other customers. See our privacy policy.
Subscriptions, payment and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance by card, through Stripe.
- Prices are shown on the pricing page and are the total amount payable.
- Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
- We do not refund part-used periods, except where required by law or where we have failed to provide the service.
- Founder pricing, where offered, is honoured for as long as your subscription remains continuously active.
Price changes
We may change prices for future periods. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.
Availability
We aim to keep Bramley available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend access for maintenance, and will give notice where we reasonably can.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to breach the security of the service, resell access, scrape it systematically, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, regulatory penalties, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from reliance on a score.
Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time. We may close it on 30 days' notice, or immediately if you breach these terms, and will refund any period paid for and not used.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
